Classes at The Goat

We offer three FREE classes in our shop:
A basic earring class, a basic necklace class and a multi-strand necklace class.

Basic Earring Class  During the course of this class we will discuss and practice different techniques for creating earrings using headpins, beading wire and gauged wire.

Basic String Class  Learn the basic techniques to create a necklace - what types of stringing material are availabe and how they differ, discuss the attributes of a variety of clasps, how to crimp using a crimping tool and crimping beads, and different ways of finishing your personally designed piece.

Multi-strand Necklace Class  A class that combines* the skills learned in the Basic Earring and Stringing classes to build a multi strand necklace.
*** The Earring and String Class are a prerequesit for this class.

We also offer several feed classes.  These classes include all the materials needed for the class and each is a predetermined project.

Kids Jewelry Class  Each child is unique.  And so is the jewelry they create.  They choose the beads they like and they choose the design they want!  Every necklace is a work of art.....  class is limited to 6 and the fee is $10.00 per child.

Rosary Class  Learn to create a rosary using wire and beads.  All beads and rosay findings are included with the this class.  You can choose from, coral, black agate, turquoise or glass pearls.  If you have your own pieces you wish to use the class can be discounted.  The class is limited to 6 and the fee is $30.00 per student.

Wire Classes -
- using tutorials by Eni Oken, we will go through a number of techniques for making wire bails, wire wrapped beads, and much more!!!  The price of the class includes the tutorial and materials. All supplies are provided but bring your own beads and get a discount off the class price.  Classes are limited to 6 students....

Coil Frame Bead Learn to create a wrapped wore bezel around any bead! $15.00 per student. 

Coil Frame Donut Learn to wire around a donut with accent beads, and embellishment loops! $20.00 per student.

Collage Pendant  Use your "left over" beads to create a dynamic pendant! $25.00 per student.

Custom Clasp  Design the perfect clasp to compliment any piece! $25.00 per student.

Abacus Pendant A unique pendant that can be designed with any bead! $20.00 per student.

Woven Bail Spice up any focal bead with this ladder stitch bail! $20.00 per student.
