Amazing Crystals - The Smokey Angel Phantom QuartzThese crystals are being held by Lewis Tucker, and are currently on the sales floor of the Mountain Spirit Co-op in Prescott, AZ. I was lucky enough to get to hold and photograph each one, and with Lewis' permission am sharing them with you... the Citrine, the bridged Quartz and the Pink Lemurian. The Smokey Angel Phantom Quartz....$2800.00. This piece has so much depth to it... the colour, the inclusions everything is just so sensual!
The clear center of the crystal is framed by wispy clouds of creamy minerals that can include Tremolite, Actinolite, Hornblende, Riebeckite, and Richerite. It looks like the inclusions were poured into the crystal when it was still liquid and solidified together. These particular inclusions have a distinct warm tawny hue...
The photos above show off a brilliant rainbow in the top right and left corners respectively. Plus you can see how delicate the inclusions "smoke" into the quartz. It is such a nice piece to hold.. and to gaze at!!
